Basemark GPU: A Cross-Platform Graphics Benchmarking Tool
Basemark GPU is a multi-platform graphics benchmarking tool developed by Basemark. It is designed to compare the graphics performance of different smartphones, tablets, notebooks, and PCs. The free version of the benchmark automatically submits all official scores to the Basemark Power Board web service.
To ensure accurate results, Basemark GPU renders each benchmark frame off-screen and displays only a miniature image on the screen, bypassing VSync limitations on mobile devices. However, users can choose Experience Mode to view the graphics in full glory.
Please note that after installation, Basemark GPU requires downloading its graphical assets, which may take some time and is essential for the tests. If you have a capped mobile data plan, it is advisable to connect to Wi-Fi for the download.
